There is an old saying, that if you fail to plan, what you are really doing is planning to fail. If a community does not have a plan for its future, what ultimately may happen is that the community will fail to adapt to change and to take advantage of opportunities. A comprehensive plan can be a tool for planning the future growth of a local community. It should all inclusive, long-range and general.
The Harry S. Truman Coordinating Council staff is ready to work with the Comprehensive Planning Committee to update Airport Drive’s Plan. We need residents willing to share their thoughts and opinions for the future of Airport Drive. This is your opportunity to talk about what you would like to see going forward for the Village.

The Comp Plan Committee will look at transportation, utilities, economic development, historic preservation, environmental protection and anything the committee would like to focus on.
What is important to you and your family? If you would like to participate in the planning, please contact the office at 417-623-6744 or email to Sue@airportdrivemo.com.
