Did you vote last week?   We did!   We have a new council member joining the board.   Actually, he isn't 'new', he has been on the board in the past.   Mr. Ray Bryant was sworn in last night along with returning Trustee, Terry Myers.

Tuesday is Election Day!

Don't forget to come vote on Tuesday at the Municipal Building, voting hours are 7 AM - 7 PM.

Airport Drive will have Proposition A listed on the ballot.  This could save the Village an average of $400 each spring, if the election is not needed. ​

Proposition A 

Shall the Village of Airport Drive, Jasper County, Missouri adopt provision of V.A.M.S 115.124 which provide that if the number of candidates that have filed for particular offices is equal to the number of positions in that office to be filled by the election, no such election shall be held for such office, and the candidates shall assume responsibilities of their offices at the same time and in the same manner as if they had been elected.

On the November 6 general election, Airport Drive will have Proposition A listed on the ballot.

Did you know that Jasper County Precinct 43 - Tuckahoe is located in the Airport Drive Municipal building?   You can vote from 7 am - 7 pm on August 7 at the building.   If you won't be in town on Tuesday, you can vote by absentee at the Jasper County courthouses in Carthage & Joplin.
